How to organise business receipts by trip, project or company
A practical Claim Kira folder workflow for Malaysian small businesses: name a group, add receipts, check spending and keep original records intact.
Read the guide →Use Claim Kira’s backup function to create a restorable ZIP, then save it outside the app in a location you can find again. Scanning a receipt or generating a Proof Pack does not replace this step. Receipt data is stored locally on your iPhone, so keep an up-to-date backup before deleting the app, replacing the phone or making major changes to your records.
A Proof Pack contains records prepared for sharing with your accountant. An app backup is the file used by Claim Kira’s restore-backup function. Restore Purchases is different again: it restores eligible paid access through Apple, not your receipt library. Use the backup function when your goal is to recover app data later; do not assume an exported report can rebuild it.
Tap Back Up Now when shown, or use the backup option in Settings. After the ZIP is created, complete the iPhone save or share step and choose a destination outside Claim Kira. For example, choose a folder in iCloud Drive or another storage location you control. Opening the share options alone does not confirm that a backup was saved.
A backup reflects the data at the time you created it. New scans, edited fields and folder changes made later will need a newer backup. Use a simple routine that fits your workload, such as after finishing a batch of receipts or before monthly housekeeping. Keep the previous backup until you have confirmed that the new file was saved successfully.
First create a current backup, confirm its saved location and check that you can access it outside the app. Deleting Claim Kira removes its local app files. When recovering records, use the app’s restore-backup option with the intended backup. Afterwards, check receipt count, familiar images, key details and folders before relying on the restored library. Contact support if the result is unexpected.
